Mac & Cheese
2 (12oz) Packs of Long Macaroni
1 (16oz) Carton Half & Half
2 LB Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese
6 Large Eggs Beaten
1 Stick Unsalted Butter
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp White Pepper
Boil macaroni until it is almost done. Rinse and strain.
In mixing bowl, whisk together Half & Half, Eggs, Salt and White Pepper.
Spray the bottom and sides of a large deep baking pan with non-stick spray. Add ½ of the Macaroni to bottom of pan. Then add 1 LB of the Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Layer the remaining Macaroni on top of the cheese. Drizzle the milk mixture over the entire top of the Macaroni. Top with the remaining Cheddar Cheese. Slice the butter long ways into 4 strips. Place on top of the cheese.
Place Macaroni pan on drip pan and Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes uncovered. Remove from oven and cover with aluminum foil sealing the edges. Bake an additional 45 minutes.
